Green Tip of the Month

Rethink the bottled water habit.  Sure it seems convenient, but Advertisements mislead consumers into thinking that bottled water provides clean, safe and better tasting water.  However bottled water is less regulated than tap and up to 40% of bottled water in the US and Canada is actually filtered municipal tap water.

Not only is tap water safer but if students consumed the recommended daily intake of water via bottled water at retail price, the cost would exceed $3,000 a year!  Compare that to a mere $0.88 a year for high quality tap.
