Interested in joining the Hoekstra Laboratory?
In 2007, we joined the Organismal and Evolutionary Biology (OEB) Department at Harvard University. OEB is home to a diverse set of faculty and students with wide ranging research interests, providing an exciting and interactive academic environment for integrative research training in evolutionary biology. In addition, our laboratory is part of the Museum of Comparative Zoology (MCZ), which opens additional opportunities and resources to further augment your academic experience.

Undergraduate Students: We have openings for a few undergraduate students to join the lab. If you are interested in evolutionary genetics, a dedicated student and motivated, please contact me at hoekstra@oeb.harvard.edu to discuss your research interests.

Graduate Students: We always have an eye out for highly motivated graduate students with interests in mammalian evolutionary genetics. I primarily admit students through the OEB program at Harvard. More detailed information about the graduate program and the admissions process can be found here.
