By Subway (the "T": www.mbta.org)
Exit the Red Line at theHarvard Square stop . Upon leaving the station, walk northeast into
into Harvard Yard. Walk to the gates leading into the Science Center located to the left when
facing the Yard. Turn right and walk past the Science Center to Oxford/Kirkland Street. Turn right
onto Kirkland and go one block to Divinity Ave. Turn left on Divinity. The main entrance to the Biological
Laboratories is on the right side of Divinity Ave ( 16 Divinity Ave ).
By car:
From the North
Take route 93 or 1 south toward Boston. Take Storrow Drive--Cambridge exit.
Follow Storrow Drive west for approximately 4 miles (after approximately 2 miles Storrow Drive
becomes Soldiers Field road. You will not notice any change). Take the exit marked Harvard Square/Cambridge.
Turn right going over the Charles River, this is JFK Street. Follow JFK Street through Harvard Square. At the fork
Out of Town News and the "T" stop will be on your right. Stay to the left of the fork and remain in the left-hand lane.
Stay to the left until you reach the next fork after the light at Johnson's Gate in Harvard Yard. Take the left at the fork
and get in the right-hand lane. This will take you to Massachusetts Ave. Go approximately 0.2 tenths of a mile past
the Harvard Law School to Everett Street. Turn right at Everett Street. At the next set of lights, if you have a parking
pass, proceed into the Oxford Parking lot. If you do not have a pass you can turn right onto Oxford Street. There is
metered parking all along Oxford Street and Kirkland Street (which Oxford Street turns into as it turns left).
The Biolabs is accessible off of Divinity Avenue, located off of Kirkland Street and behind the MCZ building on Oxford Street.
From the South
Take route 3 (South East Expressway) north and follow the above directions for Storrow Drive West.
From the West
Take route 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike) east. Take the Cambridge/Allston exit and follow signs for Cambridge
bearing to the right. Get into the far left land and after you cross the Charles River, turn left onto Memorial Drive.
Follow Memorial drive to the second set of lights, which is JFK Street. Turn right onto JFK Street and follow the
directions above.
