Terrestrial Ecosystem Models

We are actively developing physiological models for diverse aspects of ecosystem function.

For a collaboration with Dr. Andrew Fox at NEON (J064), we used the DALEC ecosystem model to identify ecosystem functional parameters and states at multiiple research sites in Europe. Model code and documentation is available here

More recently, we further developed the DALEC ecosystem model to investigate the effect of using multiple different data constraints to improve model performance (J076). Model code and documentation is available here
