FAS VPN Client
How to obtain and install the FAS VPN Client
FAS's VPN client can be found at http://fas.harvard.edu/computing/downloads.
You will need your Harvard ID and PIN to log in and download the software.
For Windows Users:
1. Download VPN Client -
InstallShield Installer from
the link above to your desktop
2. Double click on the installer
file.
3. Keep all the defaults
for installation - simply
click Next. You may need to
reboot after installation.
Once your installation is complete, you can start the VPN Client by going to Start -> Programs -> Cisco Systems VPN Client -> VPN Client.
When the VPN Client first starts it will prompt you for a user name and password. Your user name is your Harvard University ID. Your password is your PIN.
For Mac OSX Users:
1. Download VPN Client With
Installer Scripts from the
link above to your desktop.
2. Double click on the saved
file to expand it. The expanded
file is named VPN_Client.
If it doesn't start up automatically,
double-click it.
3. Keep all defaults when
installing, click Next.
To start the VPN Client, go to Hard Drive -> Applications -> VPNClient.
