The Evolution Journal Club
This journal club aims to create an environment that people can discuss evolution in both theoretical and experimental aspects. The participants include graduate students, postdocs and faculties from MCB, OEB, CGR, Physics and MIT biology departments. Participants have to present in a rotating base (usually about once or twice a year). They can talk about their research projects or ideas if they want, or they can pick a paper related to evolution no matter it's a new or old one. There is no specific focus on the topics. The discussion is very informal and it usually lasts about one hour. For those who are interested in this journal club, they can contact Greg Lang (lang@fas.harvard.edu). Note however, that the Evolution Journal Club is not currently active, but may start up again if there is enough demand.
