OEB Alum Jacob Suissa ('22) and Ben Goulet-Scott ('23)

The latest episode of the New York Botanical Garden's Plant People podcast interviewed OEB Alum Ben Goulet-Scott (PhD '22, Hopkins Lab) and Jacob Suissa (PhD '23, Friedman Lab) on their popular Instagram and nonprofit, Let's Botanize.

Jacob and Ben started their Instagram account in 2020 and have grown to over 174,000 followers! They went on to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating the climate and biodiversity crises by spreading curiosity, knowledge, and appreciation of plants.

Ben, currently Higher Education & Laboratory Coordinator at the Harvard Forest, and Jacob, currently Assistant Professor at The University of Tennessee Knoxville, are devoted to making botany fun and accessible for everyone!
