Scott Edwards awarded Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Professor Scott Edwards, Curator of Ornithology in the Museum of Comparative Zoology and Department Chair, recipient of the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award from The Society of Systematic Biologists.

Edward's work has advanced our understanding of the use of large-scale molecular data for species delimitation, added to our understanding of historic geography structuring of populations, leveraged genomic data to understand connections between genotype and phenotype, and has done all of his scientific research with an eye to diversifying science and being an excellent mentor to the next generation.
