Faculty Elected to National Academy of Sciences

Portraits of Professors Pardis Sabeti and L. Mahadevan

Two OEB Professors have been elected as members of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS): Pardis Sabeti, professor immunology and infectious diseases at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a core member of the Broad Institute, and L. Mahadevan, Lola England de Valpine Professor of Applied Mathematics and professor of physics in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard.

NAS members are elected in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Membership is one of the highest honors that a scientist can receive.
