The Gazette featured Professor Mandë Holford and her work with deadly marine mollusks whose toxins can work with targeted efficiency at a fast kill and yet also hold the power to cure some human diseases.

Holford joined OEB last year where she continues her research focusing on venomous sea snails and cephalopods, their toxins, and how those compounds might be turned into medicines.
