#  Girguis Laboratory Renovation Receives LEED Gold Certification

Congratulations to the **[Girguis Laboratory](http://www.energyandfacilities.harvard.edu/green-building-resource/leed-case-studies/girguis-laboratory-fas),** [awarded the LEED Gold certification](http://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/newsplus/girguis-laboratory-renovation-receives-leed-gold-certification/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=OFS) by the U.S. Green Building Council for their recent renovation! The 6,415-square-foot renovation increased the energy efficiency of the high-performing space and created an indoor environment focused on health, with over 90 percent of occupied space within the renovated area designed with access to daylight and views.
