OEB Alumni Molly Edwards, PhD '22, studied the genetics and evolution of columbine flower petals under the direction of her advisor, Prof. Elena Kramer. After nine years of research, Molly returned to the Kramer lab with her YouTube sensation, Science IRL, to bring closure to her dissertation through a new protocol that can genetically transform columbine flowers.
