Congratulations to **Javier Ortega-Hernández**, granted the distinction of Investigador Nacional Nivel 1 (National Researcher Level I) by the [Sistema Nacional de Investigadores](https://www.conacyt.gob.mx/index.php/el-conacyt/sistema-nacional-de-investigadores) (National System of Researcher). The award from the Government of Mexico is for excellence in scientific production.
