Congratulations to former graduate student, **Laura Lagomarsino** (**Davis Lab**) for winning the prestigious [Ernst Mayr award](http://www.systbio.org/ernst-mayr-award.html) from the Society of Systematic Biologists (SSB) for her talk entitled, “The abiotic and biotic drivers of rapid diversification in Andean bellflowers (*Campanulaceae*).” The award is SSB's premier award, and is judged by the quality and creativity of the research completed over the course of the student's Ph.D. program. Dr. Lagomarsino graduated in May 2016.
