 Congratulations to PhD candidate Molly Edwards (Elena Kramer, Advisor) recipient of the [Katherine Esau Award](https://botany.org/home/awards/recognition-and-presentation-awards-for-students/esauaward.html) at the Botany 2021 conference. Molly was selected for her presentation, "A developmental and transcriptional framework for pollinator-driven evolutionary transitions in petal spur morphology in *Aquilegia* (columbine)."

 The award is given to a graduate student who presents the outstanding paper in developmental and structural botany at the annual meeting.
