Jonathan Losos Finds Evolutionary Clues in Amber Anoles

Jonathan Losos studied virtually every known specimen of anole lizard fossilized in amber and discovered the green anole lizard has maintained a stable ecological habitat for millions of years. The study, led by Emma Sherratt, former postdoctoral fellow in the Losos lab, is described in the current issue of Proceeding of the National Academy of Sciences. Full Story.
