Former OEB graduate student, Carolyn Eng, and Andrew Biewener have co-authored two studies, in the Journal of Experimental Biology and the Journal of Biomechanics, that examine how the iliotibial (IT) band stores and releases elastic energy to make walking and running more efficient. Full Story.
