Congratulations to PhD candidate Vanessa Knutson (Giribet Lab) recipient of the American Malacological Society's [Constance Boone Award](https://ams.wildapricot.org/Previous-Award-Winners) for best student presentation for her presentation, "Most Cephalaspidea have a shell, but transcriptomes can provide them with a backbone".
